While we've been donning our best winter warmers, Deeley was spotted celebrating the opening of a new Michael Kors boutique in LA this week wearing a sleeveless dress and open toe sandals. We know it's not exactly freezing over in Southern California, but still, what's with the Spring/Summer in Autumn/Winter thing? (We're not jealous at all).

While we like this flattering style on the star, she really has taken colour coordinated to a whole new level here (hair included). Yes this sophisticated ensemble is fairly inoffensive, but next time we would like to see less brown. Maybe a even a wooly jumper or two...
How do you rate Cat's look? Let us know and take a look below to see highlights from the Michael Kors Spring/Summer show plus more from New York Fashion Week.
-
The Show: Michael Kors

The Down-Low: A Hollywood legend, a Hollywood legend in the making and one of the world's hottest supes. Michael K shows how the f-row should be done.

-
The Show: Anna Sui

The Down-Low: It's no secret that fashion loves to look to the past. But Anna Sui has taken things further for S/S 2012, by apparently referencing the trend for 1920s style that emerged in the 1970s. Think Mia Farrow in The Great Gatsby.

-
The Show: Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti

The Down-Low: Bushy eyebrows and frizzy crimped hair sound like you an school disco aged about 13? Well it's also the beauty look du jour if Alberta Ferretti is to be believed. All that's missing is the East 17 sound track and cans of Tizer.

-
The Show: Jeremy Scott

The Down-Low: Lots of things that make you go hmmm....

-
The Show: Michael Kors

The Down-Low: The king of New York slick went a little off piste for Spring/Summer 2012 with safari style and tie dye, that all felt a little bit gap year, and well not that slick at all. We wonder what his well-heeled Upper East Side clients will make of it all...

-
The Show: 3.1 Phillip

The Down-Low: Inspired by paper kites (natch) Lim's collection was bright, breezy and stuffed with crisp, white designs.

-
The Show: Proenza Schouler

The Down-Low: Designer's looking to get in with Bright Young Things take note. Plush shagpile carpet = A-listers a-plenty.

-
The Show: The Blonds
The Down-Low: And now for something completely different... New York Fashion Week is crammed with neurotic serious fashion types, so The Blonds show is always something of a respite with its parade of butt cracks, drag queens and bunny ears.

-
The Show: 3.1 Phillip Lim

The Down-Low: Icy pale eyes and palest pink nails set the beauty agenda for spring.

-
The Show: Proenza Schouler

The Down-Low: It really shouldn't have worked. In a nutshell, Proenza's should mixed 40s with 70s with crochet and leather and animal prints and an orange shagpile carpet. But somehow Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez pull it off.
