In a statement released earlier today, Moore confirmed that she is splitting from her husband after six years of marriage, with "great sadness and a heavy heart".
She continued, "As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life".
Kutcher turned to Twitter to express his feelings on the matter. After the news broke, he immediately tweeted, "I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK".
Despite the sad news, we wish them both the best for the future. We'll keep you posted with more on the break-up when we hear it.
