Miranda Kerr was snapped leaving Studio 59 in New York yesterday showcasing the ultimate accessory: her cute-as-a-button dog, Frankie.

We're just going to come out and say it: we wish we were Miranda Kerr. She's got the Hollywood husband, an adorable baby boy, the incredible post-pregnancy figure, a high-flying modelling career and now, a dog that we want too.

The Victoria's Secret model sashayed past the cameras all effortless-elegance, in her pleated maxi skirt, leather jacket and wide-brimmed hat, with the pretty pooch tucked under her arm.

We like that her head-to-toe black ensemble lets the terrier do all the talking. (We also like to think she did this on purpose.)

Who needs designer arm candy when you can rock the dog-as-clutch look?
