"They actually make quite a nice couple."
"Was that Marchesa dress made for someone a lot larger than her and then altered at the last moment? Because that bust business looks funky"
(Answer: Yes and there's only so much that tit tape can achieve)

"Doesn't 'pouvoir' mean 'pepper'? The Steps of Pepper? Really? Oh wait, it means 'power' - that makes a lot more sense."
"Is Stacy Keibler really tall or is George Clooney really small?"
And with that last question in mind there was a quick trip to Google. Apparently she is around the 5ft 11in mark and he is an incredibly specific 5ft 10.75in.
Taking into account the fact that a lady likes (or at least feels obliged) to wear heels on the red carpet, we're thinking George needs to invest in some taller hair. Like Jedward taller hair.
If you're planning your own red carpet date with Clooney, look no further than our MyDaily store stylish strapless gowns - including Stacy Keibler's:
P.S. The long train of that dress is surely an accident waiting to happen, in the manner of the gallery below:
- Rachel McAdams and Harrison Ford<p> Harrison Ford has a less-than-glorious moment at the <em>Morning Glory</em> premiere in Berlin.</p>

- Cate Blanchett and Leonardo DiCaprio<p> Luckily for lovely Leo Cate's dress had sufficient ruffling that any rips could be passed off as part of the design. Sort of.</p>

- Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries<p> Kris accidentally trod on his new wife's floor-sweeper at a welcome party in New York City. Luckily for him she laughed off the mis-step saying: "One stride for him is maybe three strides for me, lol!"</p>

- Elisabetta Canalis and George Clooney<p> Erm, George Clooney, if you haven't learned how to work a red carpet without standing on your date's dress we're not even sure we *want* to go to a film premiere with you!</p>

- Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick<p> Matthew's expression reveals that moment when you realise that any damage that that dress will mean a very frosty taxi ride home from the New York City Ballet...</p>

- Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt<p> Brad was very lucky he didn't leave a giant footprint all over Angie's pale gown.</p>

- Helen Mirren and a handy bystander<p> Taylor Hackford must have been secretly thanking his lucky stars it was a hapless bystander rather than himself trampling wife Helen Mirren's Oscars frock.</p>

- Diane Kruger and Djimon Hounsou<p> Oops!</p>

- Donatella Versace and Balthazar Getty<p> This is very much on the list of things you don't do to a designer.</p>

- Frankie Sandford and Wayne Bridge<p> A Roberto Cavalli party during London Fashion Week is either the best or the worst place for this to happen. At least the designer would be on hand to repair any damage!</p>

- Chris Judd and Rebecca Twigley<p> The Australian Football League player stepped on his model wife's wedding dress - surely the ultimate dress/foot faux pas?</p>

- Petra Nemcova and John Demsey<p> John is blissfully unaware. Petra, less so.</p>

- Katy Perry and Russell Brand<p> Smooth, Russell. Very smooth.</p>

- Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault<p> FYI, Francois-Henri balanced out his trampling by standing on the left side AND the right of Salma's dress on the same night.</p>

- Michelle and Barack Obama<p> That's no way to treat a Marchesa gown, Mr President!</p>
