From Hollywood glamour at
Dior to barely there makeup at
Chloé, take a look below to see five of the biggest beauty trends to emerge at
Paris Fashion Week (not all suitable to try at home).
- Wet-look hair

Hair was chic and sleek at Lanvin and Giambattista Valli, with wet-look styles hitting the catwalk in a big way in Paris.

However, no where was wet hair more prominent than at Chanel's under-the-sea inspired show. Chignons were saturated with mousse and adorned with pearl-like beads for the perfect mermaid look.

- Barely there

If we needed any more confirmation that barely there makeup if going to be a big trend for Spring/Summer, we found it at Paris Fashion Week.

Clear complexions and nude lips were seen at Chloé while Chloe Sevigny rocked the minimal makeup look on the catwalk at Kenzo. It was all about natural radiance at Stella McCartney too, where cheekbones and lips were highlighted with a touch of pink gloss.

- Loud lashes

When it came to eye makeup, Viktor & Rolf, Gareth Pugh and Miu Miu all dared to be different at the Spring/Summer shows.

Things got all arts & crafty backstage, with stick-on neon lashes at Viktor & Rolf and pigment painted around the eyes Miu Miu. Things got even more extreme at Gareth Pugh, where futuristic shapes and textures were stuck above the eyes for a 3D effect. Perhaps not one to try at home...

- Full on fringe

Hermès proved that if you're going to wear a fringe, you might as well do it properly. Sleek, blunt styles were seen on all the models at this show, accessorised with just one thing - a Hermès headband, of course.

- The red lip

Fashion week wouldn't be fashion week without red lipstick. Bold, crimson shades offset flawless, porcelain skin at Jean Paul Gaultier, Dior and Rick Owens.

While the classic colour is never going to go out of fashion, it's time to go matte and velvet when it comes to lipstick next season.
