My new book, My Style, has just gone on sale and I can't wait to show it to you all. Writing the book was a wonderful experience, allowing me to relive some of my favourite red carpet moments, reacquaint myself with some of the style icons who have influenced me and refresh my memory with some of the fashion tips I've picked up over the years.

If my first 40 years have been a fashion odyssey, then the weeks and months spent researching and writing My Style were nothing short of a voyage down memory lane. Pulling some of my favourite dresses out of storage and looking at photos of myself wearing them at fabulous events really brought the bright lights and camera flashes flooding back. Those dresses are like old friends and each one of them has their own unique personal story to tell.

But My Style doesn't just document my style journey, it's all about helping you find your own, individual style. There are tips for creating the perfect capsule wardrobe, accessorising, and packing for your holidays. I dip into one of my favourite topics - fashion history – taking a look at some of the world's most influential fashionistas. And I share with you some of the beauty and style tricks I've picked up from working with incredible stylists at photo shoots and on television.

I had a lot of fun writing My Style and, poised for the launch, my hope is that it gives you as much pleasure reading it.
