Heidi Klum arrived with husband Seal for the Emmys wearing what appeared to be a mushroom cloud in the form of an ultra-ruffled dress:

Putting the 'blast' and the 'beruffled' and the 'plume' into 'blast-beruffled plume' (Thomas Hardy references are all over the red carpet if you look hard enough) Klum sashayed down the red carpet to represent Project Runway in the Outstanding Reality-Competition Programme category.

The Project Runway host's explosive gown was from the atelier of season four winner Christian Siriano - a neat way to make a point about the show producing talent while attending on behalf of the programme. She's a savvy one and no mistake!
