Kim Kardashian Wears Victoria Beckham To NYC Welcome Bash

Kim Kardashian wore a design from Victoria Beckham's a/w 2010 collection as she attended a party held to welcome her and new husband Kris Humphries to New York City.

The reality television star went for classic Hollywood glamour with the floorlength gown, tumbling tresses and a sizeable helping of bling. Kim did alter the look slightly from the catwalk by removing the "exclusive 3d grosgrain embroidered belt" and we must say the dress looks better for it.

There was also a cake although we're not sure if it's an actual cake that you can eat or a cipher for a cake which represents the welcomingness of New York City without involving complicated things like real icing. In case it is a real cake we've decided that the second tier down would be a logical place to start eatling from because there are fewer sticking out wire bits.

Anyway, ignoring the fact that she persists in having a husband so tall that cropping photos of the pair of them is a total nightmare AND ignoring the fact that the choice of Victoria Beckham for the party means we STILL haven't seen a single Kardashian prepared to work the red carpet in the Kardashian Kollection leopard print sequin harem pants with elasticated waist (what gives, ladies?) AND ignoring the fact that SERIOUSLY, WHO HAS A PARTY TO WELCOME THEM TO NYC ANYWAY... we give Kim's take on Victoria Beckham our seal of approval.
