Inappropriate? The new Fille collection is aimed at girls aged 4-12. Photos:jours-apres-lunes.com
"It's cute when a little girl dresses up in her mom's clothing and jewellery and high heels," Marilisa Racco, author of Le Snob Lingerie, told the NY Daily News.
"These pictures are not cute. It's entirely inappropriate to put a four-year-old in a bouffant like she's Brigitte Bardot in And God Created Woman.
"It's inappropriate to sexualise children. A pearl-encrusted triangle bra on a little girl does not sit well with me."
Blogger Fashionista adds: "What's disturbing about Jours Après Lunes is that it's lingerie for people who probably shouldn't be old enough to even know what lingerie is."
Sophie Morin, the designer behind Jours Après Lunes, has defended her collection, describing it as a blend of lingerie and loungewear, which she dubs "loungerie" - and claiming that her goal was to take inspiration from adult designs to create a range suitable for children.
