Hollywood's elite were out in force last night to support the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's glittering Bafta Brits to Watch party at the Belasco Theatre in LA.
And there was only one designer Kate was ever going to turn to for the high-profile event: Alexander McQueen.
The Duchess chose a stunning flowing lilac creation with a glitzy waistband by the design house, who also created her amazing wedding dress, and teamed the look with sparkly platform heels.
William is president of Bafta, and the couple rushed to be there from a polo game triumph in Santa Barbara earlier in the day.
Other stars to attend the bash included Jennifer Lopez, striking in an emerald cut-out gown, Jennifer Garner, who opted for royal blue, Gordon Ramsay, Jack Black, Blake Lively, Tom Hanks and more.
Nicole Kidman, who dazzled in an ice-blue sequin-covered gown, said of the royal couple: 'I think they are lovely, they just make you smile.'
