Quick, change! William and Kate have only been on their overseas tour for one day, and already the Duchess has been seen wearing three different outfits - all equally stylish, and equally simple.

Having departed London in that navy Roland Mouret dress yesterday afternoon, Kate performed a frock swap on the flight to land in Ottowa in an elegant lace Erdem creation - a clever, diplomatic style choice, as designer Erdem Moralioglu was born in Canada, but is based in England.

The young royal teamed her frock with her favourite LK Bennett heels and a nude clutch, while William was complimentary in matching navy.

The couple were invited to attend a youth reception later that evening, for which Kate opted to fly the flag for British fashion - wearing a cute printed dress by one of her favourite designers, Issa - which she teamed with black wedges.

The Duke of Cambridge also kept his attire more casual for the evening, in an open-collar blue shirt and beige slacks.
