Eye Eye! Lady Gaga's Bizarre Painted-on Peepers

Just when we thought Lady Gaga couldn't get anymore wonderfully weird, she goes and gives herself a second pair of eyes...

The songstress showed off her new spooky anime eyes during a photo call in Japan yesterday, after peforming in the MTV Video Music Aid Japan concert to raise money for victims of the recent earthquake and tsunami.

And clearly Gaga had taken inspiration from her surroundings, removing her sunglasses to reveal two large painted peepers over the top of her eyelids - mimicking the style of anime cartoon characters widely associated with Japanese pop culture.

And to finish? Why a bra-flashing waistcoat, leather beret, leopard print bag and gold studded versions of her ubiquitous mega-platforms, of course.

The Perfect 10: Lady Gaga

No words can describe the many things going on in this outfit. Gaga wore a corseted dress from Spanish designer Maya Hansen's 'Queen of Spain' collection to film the 106 and Park show in New York. The outfit was complete with a half bob, half Rapunzel hair do.
