Victoria and David Beckham are set to rent a $27 million beach side mansion this summer. The couple are rumoured to be leasing the glass-laden pile Malibu, California, for around $60,000 a month - a sum that even makes London rental prices seem reasonable.

Team Beckham is expected to decamp to their new home - despite owning a property down the road in Beverley Hills - when their new daughter is born in July.

Victoria has reportedly elected for a C-section in LA on 4 July - US Independence Day.
