Hot Or Not: Taylor Momsen's Panda Eyes

Taylor Momsen took the trend for smoky eyes to the extreme as she joined Madonna and her daughter Lourdes at the launch of their Material Girl fashion line in New York. With lids heavily circled in black, the singer appeared to be channelling Marilyn Manson.

If yesterday's sultry snaps of Kate Moss had all of us itching to experiment with smoky eyes, perhaps this picture of Ms Momsen will be a gentle warning against the dangers of getting too cavalier with that kohl pencil.

Taylor – who is the face of the Material Girl brand – went for goth-rock chic in a black slip dress and thigh-boots. Her dramatic eyes were certainly in keeping with the look. But here at MyDaily we prefer our smoky eyes to be soft and smouldering so we doubt we'll be rocking the racoon look anytime soon.
